Hello everyone!

So here we are, two young artists with a great vision. We are organizing a cultural project to enhance and share contemporary art in Europe through four experimental exhibitions.

As to say:

Our project is called "Seasonal, a nomad workshop".

It will take place over a period of 5 months: from May 2015 to September 2015 and in various European countries.
We chose four countries that are culturally, historically and geographically very different:
Luxembourg, Latvia, Moldova and Greece.

In each country we are going to team up with five local artists, and with the participation of the local population, work and live on site to set up a free exhibition in an abandoned place.

This imaginary community aims to introduce the large public to contemporary art and create a dialogue between us, other artists, local people and their cultural institutions. Hoping to find new ways of showing, sharing and living arts.

We are interested in cultural enclaves where the access to contemporary art is difficult.

We need to find houses that have reached the end of their life or unused places that can allow us total freedom of creation. (house, factory, office, church, etc.) And which will maybe find a new purpose after our departure.

In our opinion, in a time of cultural crisis, it is necessary to help upcoming artists to develop, thrive and be able to exist in this too closed world of contemporary art, where the show business and the economic side prevail over the intellectual content and the formal work of many artists.

With our project "Seasonal, A Nomad Workshop" we wish, in collaboration with various institutions, national and European artists, reflect and work around the development of new means of showing, creating and sharing art.

It can be seen as a study, an experiment, to collect impressions of contemporary art in Europe today. Its issues, its diversity, its difficulties, its elitism or not, the choice of artists exhibited or not, its dialogue and the way it can be shared with the public.

A moving inventory, as much a social as an artistic laboratory.

Throughout the project, the experience will be documented. We'll create a blog where you can follow the adventure and once the season is over, we will create a book and an exhibition in order to share the experience.

Regarding the success of this experiment, and the interest of the public we have decided to extend our concept. For this season we are going to travel to four countries, but it is quite likely that we will expand our field of action after this first phase.

To prepare, organize and finance this major project, we need your support & generosity, that thanks to you, we can realize the Nomad Workshop (if you can't give any money, we are also happy about useful contacts in these countries or even an exhibition space if you are a landlord and a patron at once living in Greece, Moldova or Latvia)

Here you can have a look at some more pictures of our first project, which took place last year in an abandoned glazery in Luxemburg City. We were 15 artists working on site for 4 weeks. During that period we organized tours for school classes, performances, screenings and intimate dinner parties. At the end we opened the house for the large audience during one intense weekend of cultural exchange.
