Après une intégrale des trios de Beethoven acclamée par la presse et le public en 2020, nous avons longuement mûri notre prochain projet…

C’est tout naturellement que nous nous sommes plongées dans la musique du fils spirituel de Ludwig, celui qui nous a rassemblées dès nos premières répétitions, celui qui prolonge la réflexion de son aîné tout en développant son discours romantique :

Johannes Brahms !

Notre double album mêlera trois piliers du répertoire de trio à une oeuvre plus rarement jouée : les trois trios pour piano, violon et violoncelle côtoieront le trio pour piano, violon et cor, dans sa version avec violoncelle signée de la main de Johannes en personne.

C'est un immense bonheur pour nous de faire désormais partie de la grande famille d'artistes qu'est le label La Dolce Volta, et de retrouver l'équipe qui nous avait si bien accompagnée lors de l'enregistrement des trios de Beethoven avec Mathieu Herzog à la direction artistique et Lucie Bourely au son !

Comme pour BEETHOV3N, nous avons souhaité réunir les meilleures conditions et mettre toutes les chances de notre côté afin d'enregistrer le plus sereinement possible, et avec l'exigence que cette musique demande : directeur artistique, ingénieure du son, violon et violoncelle du XVIIIème prêtés par la Fondation Boubo-Music, piano Bösendorfer Vienna Concert 280 , salle d’enregistrement avec une des plus belles acoustiques de France ... À tout ceci s'ajoutent les indispensables éléments de communication : attachée de presse en la personne de Lucy Boccadoro, réalisation d'une vidéo promotionnelle ainsi que d'un clip, achats de spots publicitaires, impression de flyers et de kakemonos ...

🇬🇧 After a complete Beethoven trio album critically acclaimed by press and public in 2020, we have given a lot of thought about the content of our next project...

It was only natural to immerse ourselves in the music of Ludwig's spiritual son; the one who brought us together from our very first rehearsal; the one who extends the reflections of his elder while developing a new romantic discourse:

Johannes Brahms!

Our double album will combine three pillars of the trio repertoire with a more rarely performed work: the three trios for piano, violin and cello will rub shoulders with the trio for piano, violin and horn, in its version with cello, published by Johannes himself.

It is a great pleasure for us to be part of the great family of artists that is the La Dolce Volta label, and to be reunited with the team that accompanied us so well when we recorded the Beethoven trios - Mathieu Herzog as artistic director and Lucie Bourely as sound engineer!

As with BEETHOV3N, we wanted to create the best possible conditions to be able to record as serenely as can be, and with the high standards this music demands: with artistic director, sound engineer, 18th-century violin and cello on loan from the Boubo-Music Foundation, Bösendorfer Vienna Concert 280 piano, and a hall with one of the finest acoustics in France.... Added to all this are the indispensable communication and marketing elements such as a press agent (in the person of Lucy Boccadoro), the production of a promotional video and clip, the purchase of advertising material, as well as printing flyers and kakemonos...
